Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Spiritual Healing

Smoking, Weight Loss, Fears, Phobias, Anxiety, Stress, Public Speaking, Insomnia, Nail Biting. Blushing, Confidence Issues, Pre-test Nerves, Relaxation, Motivation, Relationship Problems and Anger Management, as well as many other problems that have a psychological basis.


Hypnosis is a state that you are familiar with. You drift in and out of it daily. Day-dreaming is a form of hypnosis. It is a state that can easily be induces in the therapeutic setting to facilitate change. Using hypnosis, there are two types of therapies that can be utilised to deal with a particular problem.


Suggestion therapy usually involves one session and can be used to help quit smoking, aid weight loss and resolve issues involving lack of confidence. Sometimes issues like smoking can be just a habit and that is when one session of suggestion therapy is sufficient. In other instances smoking can be symptomatic of other unresolved issues going on below the level of consciousness. This is where more than one session would be needed.


Analytical Hypnotherapy is used when time has to be spent getting to the root cause of the presenting problem and can take between 8 – 12 sessions.

 

I have been working as a Hypnotherapist for the past 12 years and have a wealth of experience. I am a member in good standing of the Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (ICHP). I am also a Supervisor for other therapists and I am in regular supervision myself.

I was initiated into the different levels of Reiki 10 years ago. I got the Sakara, Sophi-El and Angeliclight attunements from Kathleen Milner 5 years ago. In the past two years I have been working more with these energies, in the form of Spiritual Healing.

I find the combination of hypnotherapy/psychotherapy and hands-on energy work to be powerful. Picking up intuitively where the client’s energy is blocked and then working through these blocks I am a big advocate of meditation. It is an important part of my daily routine. I know first hand the benefits of taking time out for myself, to clear my mind and start my day uplifted and centered.
